Presenting The Villages To The Villagers

Within the civic parish of Odiham & North Warnborough there is a wealth of activity, interest and opportunity for people of all ages and interests. Recent experience shows that there is a lack of awareness of this potential. Remarks such as “I did not know we had a bowling club” or “nothing ever happens in Odiham” are often heard. But there is a rich catalogue of diverse of activities, and for those who involve themselves there is never dull moment.
It is intended to hold a “Villages Awareness Day” to present the Villages of Odiham & North Warnborough to their Villagers. By running this event the Odiham Town Manager Group, in conjunction with Hampshire County Council, hopes that residents and others will make greater use of what is available for the benefit of all who live in the Parish.
The event is still in the early planning stages at present, but it is hoped that the professionals, traders, organisations and activities that exist in the villages will take the opportunity to demonstrate what they have to offer.
