Parish Council parking threat to our Dental Surgery

I understand that the Parish Council has told the dental surgery that the new parking scheme could cost the surgery up to £12,000 a year - yes, twelve thousand pounds - because they will have to buy parking season tickets.

But a parish councillor has offered to negotiate a discount for them!

Wow...how helpful. And of course, who will actually pay this stealth tax? Yes, you and me as users - or else the surgery will be unviable and have to move.
